The COPPER+ hygiene process is a copper-based finish in which cleaning textiles are finished with fine, non-scratching copper pigments. The antiviral and antibacterial effect dispenses with any kind of chemistry or nanotechnology. COPPER + is harmless to people and the environment in use. The COPPER + finishing for microfibre cleaning textiles was developed in cooperation with the University of Innsbruck. COPPER + uses the natural antiviral and antibacterial effect of copper and not only prevents the growth of germs in the cleaning textile, but also removes over 99% of viruses and bacteria by simply wiping them, as scientific laboratory tests have shown, thus preventing the spread of germs.

Conclusion from the test by Eurovir Hygiene-Labor GmbH: After just one hour, no residual virus (TGEV coronavirus) was detectable on the tested cloth.
Conclusion from the test by the Medical University of Innsbruck: After just one hour, no residual bacteria (E. coli and S. aureus) were detectable on the tested cloth.
The Copper+ microfiber towels are also certified by Oeko-Tex and Dermatest.

Material Composition:
80% polyester, 20% polyamide (copper is not an approved fiber name, therefore not on the label). The wipes have an antiviral and antibacterial effect thanks to the fine copper pigments. The cloths are finished with copper. A copper-based process technology is used here, with which cleaning textiles are equipped with fine, non-scratching copper pigments. The copper pigments are copper sulfate pentahydrate. This biocide is available under CAS no. 7758-999-8 approved by ECHA.
