Product information "Patina varnish 25ml"
The patinal varnish, also called green antique varnish, is a solvent-based, greenish, quick-drying special varnish to achieve a matt "patina effect" - similar to verdigris - but non-toxic on objects with relief surfaces. After drying, the varnish can be thinned from the raised parts, order number 327159. Ideal for metals on which no green patina can be created chemically, patinal varnish is non-toxic.
This effect is particularly real on objects made of real bronze and on substrates with a similar color (for example old copper, slightly blackened tombac or corresponding galvanic layers)
The patinal varnish is especially suitable for painting
- Glass
- metal and
- many metallized hard plastics (such as plexiglass) with relief surfaces (e.g. engravings or embossing)
The suitability - especially on plastic parts - should always be checked in advance on some sample objects.
