Those who prefer the unique feel of waxed wooden surfaces, but at the same time also want a high level of resistance, should opt for this specially developed wood wax.
• Ideal combination of oil and wax - penetrates deep into the wood pores and seals them with a hard wax layer
Application tips:
• It is best to apply the last layer on the surface that has already been primed with natural wood oil (references 361896/361897) (attention: the first layer should not be polished)
• Sand the wood surface smooth with grain 240 before oiling or the first application of wood wax
• Apply wood oil or the first layer of wood wax, rewet highly absorbent areas
• After about 30 minutes, completely remove the supernatant (no shiny areas may remain)
• Let dry for at least 12 hours
• Repeat this process again with natural wood wax
• Polish the wax layer remaining after drying to a silky shine with pressure

Shellac primer 125ml - surface protection of wood

Our shellac primer is a nature-based aid when it comes to protecting the surface of fine woods.
• The primer helps to reduce the consumption of natural wood oils and waxes on highly absorbent woods
Application:
• Apply the primer thinly to the dry wooden surface with a brush
• Let the primer soak in completely
• Let dry for 24 hours
The primer penetrates deep into the pores of the wood and seals them.
After using the primer: Process wooden objects with natural wood oil (references 361896/361897) or natural wood wax (references 361898/361899).
Caution: Shiny areas on the wood surface indicate that the application has been too saturated or that it has been applied multiple times, such areas must be sanded over again.

The most natural way of protecting wood is to use drying oils. Without further additives, these harden very slowly within a few weeks - this is why so-called siccatives (drying accelerators) are added to the usual oils so that the drying time is greatly reduced. The problem: All of these siccatives contain heavy metals and are therefore not harmless to health and should not come into contact with wood products that have to do with food or toys.
