A few hours of light a day are enough to let the AVENUE PLUS digital garden thermometer shine at night. The environmentally friendly instrument has solar cells with which the energy for illuminating the display is collected during the day.
On the clear digital display with large digits, the temperature and the radio-accurate time can be read from a distance. The display lighting enables excellent readability at dusk and at night. You also get subtle garden lighting. The modern, puristic and simple garden thermometer stands for the latest technology in a timeless design.
At dusk and dawn, the built-in light sensor switches the lighting on or off depending on the brightness. Or you can activate the automatic timer, then the light stays off between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. to save the battery.
The display offers three different options: display of just the current temperature, the current temperature alternating with the time or current temperature, daily high and low values as well as time alternating.
The divisible rod is made of aluminum and is simply inserted into the ground to set it up. Placing the thermometer in the middle of the garden at a height of 1 meter has the advantage that the temperature values are not misrepresented by a house wall and the actual outside temperature is measured.
The processing of high-quality plastic ensures winter and weather resistance. The 1.5 V AA battery for operation and the display is included.
