Product information "Dip and brush bluing stain set"
The term "browning" comes from the word "tanning".
This also includes the blackening, which is mainly used for ferrous articles at a temperature of 300° C or higher. And because this method is far too complex and dangerous for normal domestic use, a so-called brush burnishing, which can be ideally processed at a temperature of 12 to 25° C, is used here.
Blueing protects and seals the brass, bronze or copper surface while providing an exceptional appearance. The associated corrosion protection also serves as a primer for further surface treatments. Primers, paints, antioxidants and protective oils adhere to it.
We have put together this practical set of materials for all those who only need to blacken a few items. It contains everything to rework brass, bronze and copper parts and make them look neatly aged.
Clean the brush with water.
The set contains:
- 1 bottle of paint and blue stain 50ml (brown to black)
- 1 mixing cup 20ml
- 1 roll of steel wool 15g
- 1 processing instructions
