Product information "Gold effect varnish, 25ml"
The gold effect varnish is a yellowish, brownish, one-component transparent varnish based on solvent to create a gold effect on a silver-colored surface. It is characterized by high gloss, quick drying and good scratch resistance. It dries purely physically with evaporation of the solvents, which means that the lacquer can be wiped off with a suitable thinner after drying.
The gold effect lacquer is used specifically
- to give silver-colored metals or alloys or galvanized or vapor-coated surfaces a brass or gold-like appearance.
Deceptively real effects can be achieved, especially on silver-white, shiny surfaces (silver-plated or vapor-coated goods).
A kind of "old gold" effect results on grayish metals (for example soft cast iron, nickel, stainless steel).
Bicolor effects on silver are therefore very possible with the paint!
The gold effect lacquer on non-metallic or unmetallized substrates (e.g. glass, ungalvanized plastic, wood) is not suitable. It is best to use gold bronze lacquers here. In any case, a silver-colored surface (regardless of the material) must already exist. Not recommended for exposed areas that are naturally subject to frequent impact or showers.
The gold effect lacquer is used especially in the production of
- costume jewelry
- medals and badges
- hair accessories
- bridal jewelry
- Trach jewelry
- Christmas decorations
- Decorative and promotional items
- souvenirs
- ornaments
- handicrafts
