Threadlocker - low strength. Easy disassembly. Suitable for all metal threaded connections.
LOCTITE® 222 is a low strength threadlocker that allows adjustment of screws, including countersunk screws and set screws. Well suited for use on metals that could break during disassembly, e.g. aluminum or brass. The product is suitable for all metals, including passive materials such as stainless steel, aluminum and galvanized surfaces. It has proven tolerance to small amounts of contamination from industrial oils, e.g. engine, anti-corrosion and cutting oils.
• Ideal as a low-strength screw lock for adjusting screws, countersunk screws and set screws
• Particularly suitable for small threads
• Connections can be dismantled with hand tools such as screwdrivers
