Product information "Diamond and moissanite multi-tester Presidium"
The device uses thermal and electrical resistances and can detect both, diamonds and moissanites (set and unset). The copper tip (dia. 0,7 mm) is placed straight on the surface of the stone to be tested. If the tested stone is a diamond, the device sounds an acoustic signal and the green LEDs light up.
If it is a moissanite, the yellow LEDs light up.
If the test pins make contact with metal, an acoustic warning signal sounds and the red "metal" display lights up so that measurement errors can be avoided.
Battery operated (3x LR03/AAA 1.5 V), not included.
