It is a UV-C air purifier against corona: light with ultra-short wavelengths damages the genetic material of microorganisms, these die off in a flash. In ZAPP! UV-C lamps with a wavelength of 254 nm are used. The room air with the viruses and fungi in it is continuously passed through the luminaire body.
