Kitchen timer
A large selection of mechanical and electronic timers. A mechanical timer uses as drive a spring, which drives a mechanical gear train. By means of balance and escapement, the driving force is controlled so that the clock runs every second. The pointer movement displays the elapsed time on a scale. For short mechanical timers, the runtime is usually limited to 60 and 120 minutes.
