Elegance through wafer-thin metal.
Golden sheen is inimitably beautiful and turns things into magnificent individual pieces. With the right basics and a little sure instinct, the traditional finishing technique from the restoration sector is also feasible for creative people. For this purpose, KREUL leaf metal with KREUL application milk is applied to the decorative face condition. The wafer-thin metal is available in the colors gold, silver and copper. Thus, a high-gloss look can be achieved on materials like wood, glass, cardboard, porcelain and much more. Simple accessories such as picture frames, wooden parts or bowls are turned into luxurious-looking art objects.
Characteristics
• Fine leaf metal for high-gloss, metallic looks
• Pack of 6 sheets, dimensions 140 x 140 mm
• For wood, glass, paper, canvas, cardboard, styrofoam, plastic, wax, ceramics, porcelain, dry concrete, terracotta, foil, metal, leather
• That's how it works:
The joint to be designed must be clean, free of dust and grease. Apply application milk (our reference 334325) and let it dry until it is transparent (duration at least 20 minutes). Put on sheet metal and use another brush to change (e.g. our reference 359109) and pull. Remove residues with a brush or cloth. After drying through (at least 12 hours), polish carefully with a soft polishing cloth or cotton wool. Let the gold-plated rights dry for several days and coat them with a top coat for sheet metal (our reference 359107) to protect against corrosion. Refer to zapon lacquer (e.g. our relationships 326082, 326111, 334843 or 334866) to protect the decoration in the outdoor area as well as to underload such as concrete, plaster, terracotta and clay
• Substrates: For wood, glass, paper, canvas, cardboard, styrofoam, plastic, wax, ceramics, porcelain, dry concrete, terracotta, foil, metal, leather
Always the right brush at hand.
Gold-plated objects are breathtakingly beautiful. The finishing technique needs a lot of tact, but with the KREUL brush set for gilding it can be done without any problems. The secret: The creative brush set is equipped with two brushes, each intended for a specific work step. The dark synthetic brush is used to apply application milk (reference 334325) and top coat (reference 359107). The leaf metal (reference 359108) is applied with the light synthetic brush. So nothing sticks unnecessarily and the gilding works almost by itself with the brushes.
