The cone geometry prevents the insects from leaving the trap again. Always mix a dash of vinegar with the liquid to protect bees and bumblebees from falling into the trap. The attractant should be renewed after 6 weeks at the latest. The plastic can be cleaned without any problems, then simply refill the trap.
