Limited NVA combat swimmer wristwatch with the original caliber 13 movement
The KSK-18 Combat Swimmer Command was established in early 1960.
The location of this particular unit was Kühlungsborn. The existence of the KSK-18 was kept secret and was subject to special secrecy.
But this was not the only reason why this unit was barely noticed, but also because it was so small and the team strength was no more than a hundred men.
The original wristwatch was made in Ruhla (Thuringia) for the navy and border troops of the NVA. At that time, these watches were not available on the open market.
The replica of the NVA combat swimmer watch with the original caliber 13 movement was now carried out by the watch manufacturer Ruhla using original drawing documents from 1983. The series includes three special models and is strictly limited.
